Imagine Arts was established in 2014 to share the love of art and creativity with children and adults alike.  Imagine Arts is the culmination of many years of teaching, coaching, and helping children express themselves through the exploration of art in various forms... and for adults to enjoy that same experience!

Hello! My name is Shane Rotkis (Ms. Shane).  I have been a teacher in one form or another for many years. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a History degree and getting married, my family and I  moved to Lakewood, Ohio. I began my career in 1998 as a pre-school teacher in Rocky River, Ohio.  I moved on to become a Children's Librarian and returned to college at Cleveland State to work towards my teaching degree. A year and a half in to my post graduate studies, I became a mother and took time off to raise my 3 boys.

I returned to teaching in 2010 with a company called, Young Rembrandts, as an art instructor for elementary school ages.  I stayed with this wonderful company for 5 years and loved every minute of it. I was also a substitute teacher in District 202 schools from 2013-2016.

Additionally, I worked at an excellent local art studio, which helped awaken the creative energy in myself to expand into my own business. In addition to Imagine Arts, I assisted the fabulous, Dianne Dame at Little Dames & Gents working with her preschoolers for 5 years. In 2019, I bid adieu to her fabulousness to focus on expanding Imagine Arts!

I proudly offer classes, independent sessions, camps, workshops and art parties for children and adults. I come to you for parties with everything you need for a fun and creative event!

My home is a warm and fun place to spark the creativity in your child. In addition to my 3 boys (4 if you count my husband...) we have a very vocal but super sweet Airedale Terrier named Jackson who is non-allergenic and loves kids. I realize not everyone loves dogs so he is always behind the gates in another room during classes.

I am fully licensed and insured.
